About the role
We are looking for a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at a hospital in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, medical staff, and hospital property. Monitor hospital entrances, exits, and premises. Patrol the facility regularly to ensure safety and security. Control visitor access and verify identification when required. Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and security alarms. Assist patients and visitors with directions and general inquiries. Report suspicious activities, accidents, or safety hazards. Prepare accurate incident and daily activity reports. Support hospital staff during emergencies and follow established security procedures. Ensure compliance with hospital security policies and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security experience is an advantage.
- Relevant security license is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Basic Arabic communication is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
